Up to what temperature can I use Spanclamps quarter-turns?

QUESTIONS

I have a project with company who are specialized on produce medical implants for visceral and spinal surgery.
Their products are made by thermo molding. They're looking to save changeover time with the heavy-duty retractable fasteners.

SCQTRHD0620 + SCRHDBI

As it is a heat molding process, the fastener would be subjected to continuous heat for 7h/day.
150°C or a little more.

With the continuous heat, can the fastener be damaged quickly?
Could the mechanism get stuck?

Have you done a heat test on these bindings?
I see 180°C in the catalogue.
Is it the max or do you have safety coefficient?

TECHNICAL ADVISES

First, please consider the heat resistance temperature (180 °C) listed in the datasheet as the maximum temperature and instantaneous.
And I'm sorry, but we do not have any data on continuous use at high temperature.
Please note that the strength of the adhesive used to fix the knob to the shaft may decrease, causing it to loosen or disconnect when continuously used at high temperatures.
And the internal spring may also decrease in strength, making it impossible to clamp or causing damage.

Considering the above points, I would recommend the customer purchase a few of our fasteners and test them under their application.
