The difference is the thread size. The flanged type can be mounted on a bigger tapped hole.
The flange is necessary for bigger diameter. The only function of the flange is to create a rest (shoulder). For example, please see the dimensions of SCSPHDM4-S.
When you mount this pin on the tapped hole on the plate, you screw it in and it automatically stops when the bottom surface (shoulder) contacts with the plate. The bottom surface is 6 mm and it is 2 mm bigger than the threaded part (M4). But if the threaded part becomes M5, the diameter difference between the bottom surface and the threaded part is too small. The pin does not stop when you screw it in the tapped hole. To avoid this problem, we developed the flanged type.
Spacer SCQTS is required for 3mm or more, under 6mm panel thickness

How To Use
- Ensure that the knob is positioned at the "OFF" mark and put Snap-in clamp over the snap-in pin.
- Turn the knob to the "ON" position for clamping. The knob clicks when it is Clamped/Unclamped.
- Note : For unclamping, follow back these steps
